Dormaa or better Dormaa Ahenkro is a City and also the capital of Dormaa Municipal of the Brong Ahafo Region, South Ghana.[2]. Dormaa has a historical reference for their brave warlords. Ahenkro is the Capital for all the smaller that serves as the seat of the Paramount King[3] Osieadeayo Nana Agyeman Badu II, son of the great Nana Agyeman Badu I. Politically, the empire currently is divided into three Districts; Dormaa Municipal Dormaa Ahenkro as its capital, Dormaa West District[4]Nkrankwanta as its capital[5] and Dormaa East District Wamfie as its capital

Dormaa Ahenkro is located in Brong Ahafo, about 15 kilometers from the Ivorian border.
