Dorinda Stevens (16 August 193225 October 2012) was a British television and film actress of the 1950s and 60s.

She was born Doreen May Stevens in Southampton in the UK,[1] the daughter of Henry C. Stevens and Winifred (née Lucas).[2] During World War II aged ten she was evacuated to Houghton in Hampshire where she appeared in amateur dramatics to entertain the troops. She studied elocution and was teaching it by age 13. She joined the Southampton Repertory Company where she was spotted for her good looks and was booked to appear in London aged 17.[3]

Her television credits include: Coat-check girl in the episode "Once in a Lifetime" of Sunday Night Theatre (1953); Lady Edith Garven in Patrol Car (1955); Receptionist in Confidentially (1955); Miss Golightly in Sixpenny Corner (1956); Helen/Madge Bingham in Dial 999 (1959); Lila/ Ruth/Helen Gibson in African Patrol (1958-1959); Carol Betterton in Crime Sheet (1959); Glory in International Detective (1960); Millicent/Helen in Interpol Calling (1959-1960); Belle in The Pursuers (1961); Girl in The Cheaters (1962); Carol/Betty /Lola la Salle in No Hiding Place (1959-1952); Verna in The Saint (1962); Mary Bennet in The Scales of Justice (1963); Molly in Edgar Wallace Mysteries (1964); Darleen in The Avengers (1964); Hugh and I (1964), and Miss Jackson in Danger Man (1965).[4][5][6]

Girl in Operation Bullshine (1959); Grace in The Shakedown (1959); Young Woman in Carry on Constable (1960); Mary in The Gentle Trap (1960); Jean (uncredited) in Make Mine Mink (1960); Dora in His and Hers (1961); Doris in Raising the Wind (1961); Girl Friend in Night Without Pity (1961); Ann Tickle in Hair of the Dog (1962); Girl at Dirty Dick's (uncredited) in Carry On Jack (1963), and Olive Davies in Night Train to Paris (1964).[4][5][6]

She was reportedly briefly married to the actor Peter Wyngarde in the early 1950s[7][8] and later married cinematographer William Michael Boultbee (1933-2005) in Nairobi in 1957 while filming for African Patrol.

Stevens died aged 80 in 2012 in Winchester in Hampshire as a result of complications of a stroke and was cremated at Bournemouth Crematorium.[4]
