Dongbog O clan (Hangul: 동복 오씨; Hanja: 同福 吳氏) was one of the Korean clans. Their Bon-gwan was in Hwasun County, South Jeolla Province. According to the research in 2015, the number of Dongbog O clan was 72394. Their founder was O Hyeon jwa. O Hyeon jwa was a descendant of O Cheom (hanja: 吳瞻) who came over from China to Silla during Jijeung of Silla’s reign in Silla dynasty. O Hyeon jwa was appointed as Prince of Dongbog (hanja: 同福君) during Gojong of Goryeo’s reign in Goryeo dynasty and began Dongbog O clan.[1]
