Dmitry Nikolaevich Demushkin (Russian: Дмитрий Николаевич Дёмушкин; born 7 May 1979) is a Russian politician and public figure with strong nationalist views. He is a co-founder of the association "Russians", which is an association of Russian nationalist groups.[1] and of its political party "Party of Nationalists".[2] He was also the chairman of the now banned "Slavic Union" and "Slavic Power".[1] He organized Russian Marches and was an active participant of many other meetings and marches. He has been convicted of organizing extremist groups.[3] In 2013, he announced his intention to run for Russian presidential election in 2018.[4] [5]
