Diego Carlos Santos Silva or simply Diego (born 15 March 1993), is a Brazilian defender who plays for French club FC Nantes.[1]

On 14 January 2018, during a Ligue 1 match between Nantes and Paris Saint-Germain, referee Tony Chapron appeared to kick Carlos following a collision, before sending him off.

Desportivo Brasil

Diego began his senior career with Desportivo Brasil in the 2012-13 season.

Sao Paulo (Loan)

On 1 January 2013, Diego was sent out on loan to São Paulo.

Paulista (Loan)

Diego spent the latter portion of the 2013-14 season out on loan at Paulista.

Madureira (Loan)

Diego also spent about a month out on loan at Madureira

Estoril

On 2 July 2014, Diego was sold to Estoril.

Porto (Loan)

In September 2014, Diego was loaned to FC Porto. He only played for the B team.

Nantes

On 1 July 2016, Diego was sold to FC Nantes for €2,000,000.
