Diane Franklin is an American actress, fashion model and producer.
Career
Early in her acting career, Franklin appeared in TV commercials for Coca-Cola, Trident, Jell-O, and Maxwell House coffee.
Franklin's first film role was in 1982's The Last American Virgin as Karen. That same year, she landed a part in the horror sequel Amityville II: The Possession as Patricia Montelli. Television roles included Bay City Blues, Matlock, and Freddy's Nightmares.
Franklin's breakout role came as the female lead Monique, a French exchange student, in the 1985 comedy Better Off Dead. She later played one of the Princesses in Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure.
In 2012 Franklin published a memoir, Diane Franklin: The Excellent Adventures of the Last American, French Exchange Babe of the 80s through Amazon.[1]
