Dhooska

A platter of Dhuska

Dhooska or Dhuska or Dushka is a popular deep fried snack eaten all over Jharkhand. The main ingredients of the dhooska are powdered rice, chana dal(powdered) and sometimes boiled potatoes are also added to this savoury dish. The bread is then deep fried. It is often served with any sauce or chutney. Dhuska is mostly made in the market area stalls where people enjoy it as a snack and is rarely found in larger restaurants.[1][2][3]
