Dhiraj C Rajaram (born 1975) is the founder and chairman of Mu Sigma Inc,[1] an Indian multinational data analytics company.[2]

Early years

Rajaram was born in 1975 Chennai, India and brought up in Bengaluru, India. He completed his bachelor’s degree in Electrical engineering from College of Engineering, Guindy, M.S. in computer engineering from Wayne State University Michigan and MBA from Booth School of Business University of Chicago.[3] After completing his education, Rajaram worked as a management consultant at Pricewaterhouse Coopers (PwC) in the US and Booz Allen Hamilton India.[4]

Mu Sigma

After quitting his job from Booz Allen Hamilton India,[5] Rajaram started data analytics company Mu Sigma Inc. in Bengaluru, Karnataka, 2004.[6]

Recognition

Rajaram was listed as one of Fortune Magazine's "40 under 40" in 2011 and again in 2013.[7]

Family

Rajaram married his engineering college friend Ambiga who was CEO of Mu Sigma from 2016 until the couple split, post which Dhiraj became CEO again.[8][9]
