The Dhanyal Tribe consists of Ali's descendants. Moaazam Shah known as Dhanni Peer is a forefather of the tribe.

Dhanyal Tribe is not descended from Fatmi descendants of Ali. They belong to Ali's 9th wife Khola bint-e-Ayas bin Jaffar Bannu Hanifa. Khola gave birth to Ali's son Muhammad bin Ali known as Muhammad bin Hanfia. [1]
