Devi Chaudhurani is a historical Indian Bengali-language soap opera that premiered on 16 July 2018 and airs on Star Jalsha.[1] It is produced by Subatra Roy and stars Sonamoni and Rahul Majumdar. Sujan Mukherjee, Subhamoy Chatterjee, and Sagnik play supporting roles. Since its launch, Devi Chaudhurani became the most-watched show on its airing channel, Star Jalsha.[2]
Plot
Based on a novel by Bankim Chandra Chatterjee, this period drama follows Prafulla's journey, starting as an innocent young girl, and eventually becoming Devi Chaudhurani, a powerful bandit queen.
