Dermophis occidentalis is a species of amphibian in the Dermophiidae family,[1] endemic to Costa Rica. Its natural habitats consist of subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests, subtropical or tropical moist montane forests, plantations, rural gardens, and heavily degraded former forests.[2]
