Deque Systems (/ˈdiːkjuː/ DEE-kew) is a digital accessibility company based in Herndon, Virginia with additional offices in Ann Arbor, Michigan[1] and Secunderabad, India. The company was started in 1999 and produces accessibility software in addition to offering accessibility consulting services.
The CEO of Deque Systems is Preety Kumar.[2]
Products
Deque tools and services are used to achieve compliance in support of the W3C's Web Content Accessibility Guidelines,[3] the Americans with Disabilities Act and Section 508.
WorldSpace is an enterprise-level toolkit for automated web and native mobile accessibility testing and monitoring of websites.[4]
aXe is a free, open source accessibility engine powering several browser extensions and APIs for testing individual web pages for web accessibility errors.[5]
Amaze is a new technology which produces server-based accessibility overlays in order to render web pages accessible for users with disabilities. In 2013, Computerworld honored Amaze with the 21st Century Accessibility Award.[6]
