Dennis Andrew Kelly (born January 16, 1990) is an American football offensive tackle for the Tennessee Titans of the National Football League (NFL). He played college football at Purdue.
College career
Kelly spent four seasons (2008-11) at Purdue and appeared in 42 career games, including starts in 37 consecutive games. He graduated with a degree in organizational leadership and supervision from Purdue.
Professional career
Philadelphia Eagles
Kelly was drafted by the Philadelphia Eagles in the fifth round, 153rd overall, in the 2012 NFL Draft.
On September 9, 2015, Kelly signed a one-year contract extension with the Eagles through 2016.[1]
On April 27, 2016, Kelly signed another one-year contract extension with the Eagles through 2017.[2]
Tennessee Titans
On August 16, 2016, Kelly was traded to the Tennessee Titans for wide receiver Dorial Green-Beckham.[3] He played in all 16 games for the Titans in 2016, starting in six of them.
On July 26, 2017, Kelly signed a three-year contract extension with the Titans through the 2020 season.[4]
Personal life
Kelly’s brother, Tim, played football at Eastern Illinois and is currently an offensive quality control coach for the Houston Texans. He is married to Jerianna, and the couple gave birth to their first child, Eden Caroline, in July 2015. They own two dogs, Harley and Sanford. He also played basketball in high school.
