Dega Breaks

Dega Breaks was a music group from West London that was active from about 2006 to 2009. The group was made up of five members: Dominic Otero on vocals and guitar, Alex Sabga on drums, Eann Bilbe on bass guitar, his brother Gavin Bilbe on guitar and synth and bassist Ben Taylor.

The band have known each other since they were very young and attended school together in a West London boys school and are influenced by the 1980s indie scene.

Signed to Back Yard Recordings, a UK independent record label based in London, they released several singles:

Dega Breaks also supported bands such as The Automatic, Das Pop, Late of the Pier, Howling Bells, Vincent Vincent and the Villains, Robots In Disguise Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly, Akala The Bishops amongst others and were compared to bands such as The killers, Soft Cell and New Order.
