Recent Success

On Sat. 22nd March, the Grade 3a Band, under the new leadership of Pipe Major Robert Grant and Drum Sgt. Darren Fisher, won the 2017 North of Scotland Branch Indoor Championships in both Grade 3 and Grade 2.

2008, 2009 and 2010 saw the addition of many new players throughout the band and the formation of a competing Grade 4A band in 2010.

The band won both the Scottish and Cowal championships in grade 3A in 2010, which resulted in the band being crowned Grade 3A champion of champions 2010.[1] This upgraded the band to RSPBA grade 2 level, which they have been competing in from 2011 onwards.
