Deborah Goodrich, (also known as Deborah Goodrich Royce) born May 1958, is an American actress and screenwriter[1] known for her role in the 1988 film Remote Control.

Biography

Goodrich completed her high school at the Lake Erie College in Painesville Ohio where in 1980 she obtained her bachelor's degree in modern foreign languages with a minor in dance.[2]

Goodrich started acting in 1980 with the film Those Lips, Those Eyes. Hereafter she played several roles in television series and films such as All My Children (1982–1983) and St. Elsewhere (1986). She stopped acting in 1992 to dedicate herself to her work as screenwriter with Miramax.

Goodrich is on the board of Read and Write Volunteers in Stamford and Greenwich Connecticut. There she also teaches adults who want to learn English.

In 2014, she joined the board of the Greenwich International Film Festival.[3]

Personal life

Goodrich is married to Charles Royce and they have two children together, Alexandra and Tess. She was Julia Roberts' bridesmaid. Goodrich now lives in Riverside Connecticut.[4]
