Dean of Gloucester

The Dean of Gloucester is the head (primus inter pares: first among equals) and chair of the chapter of canons, the ruling body of Gloucester Cathedral. The dean and chapter are based at the Cathedral Church of St Peter and the Holy and Indivisible Trinity in Gloucester. The cathedral is the mother church of the Diocese of Gloucester and seat of the Bishop of Gloucester. The current dean is Stephen Lake.
