Dax Pierson is an American multi-instrumentalist. He is a member of Subtle and 13 & God. He has contributed for underground hip hop musicians such as Themselves, Odd Nosdam and Jel.

History

On February 24, 2005, Dax Pierson was seriously injured and left paralyzed from the chest down when the Subtle tour van hit a patch of black ice in Iowa during their US tour with Department of Eagles. Though still a member of the group, he can no longer play the autoharp and no longer tours with the group. On May 28, 2009, it was announced that Dax Pierson won $18.3 million in a lawsuit with Ford Motors.[1][2][3]
