He has a twin brother, Aldo Simoncini, who's also currently playing for A.C. Libertas. The brothers scored an historic own goal each for Sweden on 7/9/10, the first time twins have ever done this in an international competition.[2]

International

Davide Simoncini has asserted himself as a pivotal player in San Marino's ranks. He now starts most games for San Marino, as does his brother Aldo. He has won over fifty caps for his country, also just like his brother.
