David Sterne (born 1946) is a British actor. He has played in more than 90 films since 1973.[2]

After leaving the army Sterne trained at the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. A former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, he has been married four times and is a recovering alcoholic. He has "hardly stopped working" since giving up drinking 30 years ago.[1]
