David Atkinson (born 27 April 1993) is an English footballer who plays as a Defender for ÍBV.[1]
Career
Without having played for Middlesbrough, Atkinson joined Hartlepool United on-loan in September 2014 but did not play for the first-team. He signed for Carlisle United on-loan on 26 March 2015.[2] He made his debut on 28 March 2015 in a 2–1 away defeat by Oxford United.[3] On 4 June 2015, Atkinson signed a short-term deal with Carlisle United. He extended his contract until June 2017 on 30 December 2015.[4] On 1 December 2016, Atkinson joined Blyth Spartans on loan until 1 January 2017.[5] Six days after returning to Carlisle, Atkinson rejoined Blyth on a permanent deal.[6] He also spent time playing in Iceland.[7]
