Davallia canariensis, the hare's-foot fern,[1] is a species of fern in the Davalliaceae family. It grows well in sunny atmosphere and on rocks.

It is a spreading, deciduous fern with thick, scaly rhizomes and broad, finely-divided fronds, it grows up to 50 cm (20 in) tall and 100 cm (39 in) broad.[2]

It is found from the west Mediterranean to the Atlantic Islands.[2] The Latin specific epithet canariensis means “from the Canary Islands”.[3]

It has an Award of Garden Merit from the Royal Horticultural Society.[2][4]
