Darryl Monroe (born January 30, 1986) is an American professional basketball player for Goyang Orions of the Korean Basketball League. He played college basketball for the George Mason University.[1]

Professional career

In 2011, he signed with Boulazac Basket Dordogne.[2] In 2013, he signed with ICL Manresa.[3]

During the 2014–15 season, Monroe played for Scaligera Basket Verona in the Serie A2, the Italian second division. Monroe was named MVP of the league, after averaging 17.7 points and 9.4 rebounds per game.[4]

In the 2015–16 season, Monroe played for Maccabi Rishon LeZion of the Israeli Basketball Super League. Monroe won the MVP trophy and led his team to the league title. Monroe was also named Final Four MVP, after scoring 20 points against Maccabi Tel Aviv in the Semi-final, and 29 against Hapoel Jerusalem in the Final.[5]

On July 27, 2016, Monroe signed with Turkish club Muratbey Uşak Sportif.[6] On December 16, 2016, he left Uşak and signed with Türk Telekom.[7] On August 12, 2018, Monroe signed with Goyang Orions of the Korean league.[8]
