Dapeng Bay

Dapeng Bay (Dapeng Wan,[1] 大鵬灣) is a lagoon in Donggang Township, Pingtung County, Taiwan. It is the largest lagoon on the southwest coastline of Taiwan Island.

History

A light aircraft plunged into the water around the bay on 16 March 2015 killing two on board.[2]

Transportation

The bay is accessible within walking distance west of Zhen'an Station of Taiwan Railways Administration.
