Daoud Lamei, also spelt Dawood Lamey or Lamie (Arabic: داود لمعى), born 1962, is a Coptic Orthodox priest and the current leader of the parish of Saint Mark Church in Heliopolis (Cairo, Egypt).

He entered lay church service in his current parish at the age of 16. In 1985, he earned a doctorate in medicine from Ain Shams School of Medicine in Cairo. In 1990, he also earned a master's degree in dermatology. He worked as a doctor for several years and was only ordained a priest in 1998. He has been married to his wife Sherine, with whom he has a daughter and a son.[1]

Daoud Lamei has become one of the best-known Coptic preachers and is frequently to be seen on Coptic religious television, particularly on the Church's official channel CTV. He has also paid several visits to Coptic parishes in the diaspora, particularly in the United States.
