Danny Ramirez (born September 17, 1997 in Chicago) is an American actor of Colombian and Mexican origin.

Career

Danny Ramirez made his television debut on Showtime's, The Affair followed by roles on NBC's Blindspot and the feature film, Rapid Eye Movement while attending New York University's Tisch School of the Arts.[1]

He currently reoccurs as Wes on Fox's The Gifted and on Netflix series On My Block. He also guest starred in Orange Is The New Black. Some of his notable film credits include: Sam Levinson's, Assassination Nation[2][3] which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival and MGM's, Valley Girl musical remake.

In August 2018, Ramirez's casting was announced for Top Gun: Maverick[4] slated to be released in the summer of 2020.[5]
