Daniel R. Headrick

Daniel R. Headrick (born 2 August 1941) is an American historian and writer.

He specializes in the history of technology.

Biography

Headrick was born on 2 August 1941.

Career

He finished his BA at Swarthmore College in 1962 and his MA at Johns Hopkins University in 1964.

He completed his PhD in history at Princeton University in 1971 with a thesis "The Spanish Army, 1868-1898 : structure, function and politics" [1]

Headrick received a Guggenheim Fellowship in 1994.[2] He is currently a professor emeritus of history at Roosevelt University.[3] He is included in Gale's Contemporary Authors, new recision series, vol.188,[4]
