Daniel Hyde (organist)
Daniel Hyde is a choral conductor and organist. He is currently Organist and Director of Music at Saint Thomas Church (Manhattan).[1] On 23 May 2018 it was announced he would succeed Stephen Cleobury from October 2019 as Director of Music, Elect for the Choir of King's College, Cambridge.[2]
He was previously a chorister and organ scholar at Durham Cathedral,[1] an organ scholar at King's College, Cambridge, and has held the positions of Informator Choristarum, Organist and Tutorial Fellow in Music at Magdalen College, Oxford as well as the Director of Music at Jesus College, Cambridge.[3][2]
