Dan Lynch (6 March 1854 – 3 December 1920) was a New Zealand cricketer. He played nine first-class matches for Auckland between 1877 and 1890.[1][2]

When the touring Australians played an Auckland XXII in February 1878, Lynch opened the bowling and bowled through their innings, except for two overs, taking 5 for 67 in a total of 175. The Australians' most successful batsman on the tour, Charles Bannerman, rated Lynch as the most difficult bowler the Australians faced in New Zealand.[3]
