Daniel Sholom Frishberg is an American businessman, who served in the U.S. Marine Corps for 3 years, beginning in 1962, and honorably discharged in 1968. He attended Fairlawn High School and New York University. He has written extensively and is the author of two book, “ESCAPE FROM THE HERD,” and “INVESTING WITHOUT BORDERS.” From 2005 through 2011, Frishberg appeared as a market commentator on CNBC, The Closing Bell, and on The Neil Cavuto Show, on Fox.

In 2001, Frishberg founded an asset management company, and registered with the SEC as Daniel Frishberg Financial Services, Inc. (DFFS) d/b/a Frishberg Jordan and Stewart Advisors. The company grew, over the following ten years to $300 million in assets under management and advising approximately $1 billion.

In 2010, one of the officers of the company was accused of unlawful activity in issuing and offering 2 promissory notes to DFFS clients. In an administrative proceeding, the Commission alleged, in connection with the offering of the promissory notes by the officer, that Frishberg, as CEO, failed to properly supervise the officer who was accused of making false or misleading statements about the offerings. In doing that, the Commission alleged that Frishberg failed to ensure that complete and accurate information about the issuers’ finances was disclosed.

Without admitting or denying the findings, except as to the Commission’s jurisdiction over him and the subject matter of these proceedings and the findings, in 2011, he consented to the entry of the administrative order by the Commission barring him from activity as Registered Investment Advisor and barring him from further association.

Frishberg was not accused of making a false statement or of improperly taking money from anyone, and The Commission specifically did not request or require any disgorgement, though they did require disgorgement by the officer accused in this case.

Since 2012, Frishberg hosted the MoneyMan Report Radio program on a number of U.S. a.m. radio stations. He has served as a business consultant, engaged in securing funding for entrepreneurs and businesses.

He is presently the host of YOU’RE THE BOSS, a daily radio program carried on a.m. radio and on I-Heart Radio.
