Daniel W. Anderson (born February 15, 1943) is an American retired basketball player.
Born in Crookston, Minnesota, he played collegiately for Augsburg College.
He was selected by the Philadelphia 76ers in the 12th round (90th pick overall) of the 1965 NBA draft.
He played for the New Jersey Americans (1967–68), New York Nets, Kentucky Colonels and Minnesota Pipers (1968–69) in the American Basketball Association for 140 games.[1] Anderson scored 41 points in his first professional game, which was also the Nets' first game as a franchise.
