Dammapeta is a Mandal in Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Telangana.[1]
Dammapeta is a village where we can see many devotional people, famous shiridi sai baba temple, venugopalaswami temple, shivalayam, vinayaka temple, anjaneya swami temple, and gayatridevi petam, and aiyappa swami temple and also known for the oil growers and it's agricultural's, the long-felt need of the oil palm growers for a second oil palm processing unit in the district is all set to be realised with the State government mulling setting up of an oil palm factory in Dammapeta, a hub of oil palm cultivation in the entire Telangana State.
It's built up with a Malaysia-based firm bagging the contract for setting up the new oil palm factory in Dammapeta mandal, civil works at the site earmarked for the processing unit at Apparaopeta are expected to commence within a fortnight.
Thummala Nageswara Rao is Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) politician who has at various times been a minister in the Government of Andhra Pradesh and, later, in the Government of Telangana. Rao is from Gandugula Palli village of Dammapeta Mandal, Bhadradri Kothagudem district, Telangana. Rao was elected on three occasions to the Legislative Assembly of Andhra Pradesh as a Telugu Desam Party (TDP) candidate from Sathupalli constituency, in 1985, 1994 and 1999.
