Damian Charles Hurley (born 4 April 2002) is an English actor and model. He is the son of actress Elizabeth Hurley and American businessman Steve Bing.

Hurley portrayed Prince Hansel von Liechtenstein in a December 2016 episode of the E! television series The Royals, which stars his mother as the Queen of England. He reprised his role in an April 2018 episode.

Career

In July 2016, it was announced that Hurley was cast as Prince Hansel von Liechtenstein in The Royals, an E! series which stars his mother as the Queen of England.[1] Hansel is a reality TV star in the December 2016 episode "Aye, There's the Rub".[2] He reprised the role in the April 2018 episode "My News Shall Be the Fruit to That Great Feast".[3]

In September 2018, Hurley was signed by model agency Tess Management.[4]

Personal life

Hurley was born to actress Elizabeth Hurley through her relationship with American businessman Steve Bing.[5][6] Although Bing initially denied paternity, a DNA test subsequently confirmed him as the father.[7][8] In a court settlement, Bing agreed to pay £1.8 million in annual instalments of £100,000 for Damian Hurley, though Hurley reportedly declined to accept the payout.

Hurley's godfathers include Hugh Grant, David Beckham, Elton John, and Denis Leary.[9][10][11]

Hurley grew up in Gloucester, with his mother and her then spouse, business tycoon Arun Nayar.[12][13][14]

Hurley and his mother then lived part-time in Australia due to Elizabeth's relationship with Australian cricket player Shane Warne.
