The Dallas Roughnecks are a professional ultimate team from Dallas, Texas playing in the South Division of the American Ultimate Disc League. The team played its first season in 2016.[1] The Roughnecks were an immediate success, finishing 14-0 in the regular season on to defeating the Seattle Cascades 33-27 in the championship game. They ended the season 17-0. Their success can be attributed to their superstar roster including 2 former Callahan winners, Jimmy Mickle (Colorado) and Dylan Freechild (Oregon). Neither of which played in the 2018 season, as Mickle was in Australia and Freechild was participating in the active AUDL boycott. Games are streamed live online by Game On Sports Productions. Broadcast by play-by-play announcer Kyle Youmans, color commentator Emi Fitzgerald, and sideline reporter Paige Shnorbach.
