Dahyan, sometimes rendered as Dhahyan or Duhyan (Arabic: ضحيان), is a town in the Saada Governorate[1] in north-western Yemen. It is the birthplace of Badr al-Din Al-Houth, father of Hussein Badreddin al-Houthi. During the Saudi Arabian-led intervention in Yemen the town was the place of the Dahyan air strike, which killed more than 50 people, most of whom were children.
