Dacheng Tao

Dacheng Tao (born 1978) from the University of Sydney, Sydney, Australia was named Fellow of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) in 2015[1] for contributions to pattern recognition and visual analytics.

In 2018 Tao was elected Fellow of the Australian Academy of Science (FAA) for his "ground-breaking contributions in artificial intelligence, computer vision image processing and machine learning".[2]
