History

DYST was inaugurated by Pacific Broadcasting Systems in 1995 as Showbiz Tsismis nationwide in Miag-ao, Iloilo in the southern part of Iloilo. Its live feed from Manila is the first showbiz oriented FM station in the Philippines that time.

In 1999, it was rebranded as Yes FM Iloilo. And moved its location in Jaro Plaza, Iloilo. It competed with its mother station DYMB-FM 97.5 Love Radio with their top DJ's and new style of mass style radio station with a little bit modern way. But after two years it was returned to Love Radio spot as the number one station in Iloilo City.

2002, Yes FM Iloilo, it went to full automation without any DJs any mid-end pop music format and at the same time, moved to its mother station DYMB-FM 97.5 studio in Guanco Street. There music more class B & C (middle class listeners).

This is in line to change strategy instead to two pop stations in the same network, they will compete with other genre to have the maximum rating from other competition pop station in Iloilo.
