Establishment
The DLF (Darbari Lal Foundation) Public School was founded in 1996. The school's mission statement emphasizes, "tomorrow belongs to the thinkers, innovators, and questioners". Thus, the school and its foundation are putting collective emphasis on creating a critical-thinking and a self-discovering environment. By making students accountable to their own conscience, the institution aims to create global citizens, and therefore, promote social responsibility.[1]

The editorial board consists of a Teacher Editor, Student Editor, Cub Reporters, and Student Designers. The team together creates the Delfite Times with everyone contributing in his or her own way.
Management
The school is recognized by the CBSE Board and the first ten students passed out in 2002 and twelve in 2004. Presently, the school offers Science and Commerce streams at the Senior Secondary Level.[3]
