Education and Family
He did his initial schooling in St. Joseph School, Mysuru, Karnataka, India. And later completed his secondary education from KECS, Bengaluru. He completed his Pharmacy from Sheshadripuram college of Pharmacy, Bengaluru. His interest in Mimicry drew him to enter Art or Cinema field.. He moved on initially to Local Cable Networks to host Dial - in LIVE shows across Karnataka. Later, he started working for Satellite channels.
Career
As he entered Film Field, Raghuram went on to work under Mr. V Ravichandran’s (renowned actor, director & producer Kannada film industry) prestigious production house “Sri Eshwari Productions” in the Direction department. He then worked under some of the big names in the Kannada Film Industry namely Director Prem and Director S. V. Rajendra Singh Babu.
Mr. Raghuram comes with experience in the various departments of film making and programming. He has made his debut in Kannada films as an actor with ‘Doni Saagali, Aryabatta, Jogi, Ajay, Bhupathi, Jothe Jotheyalli, Tavarina Siri, Maadesha and many more. Further entered managerial section as Program Producer and film section in charger of renowned Kannada Channel – Zee Kannada for 2 and half years. He was also an active member in the film procurement for the Channel. He has worked in several Kannada Channels such as Udaya TV & ETV for a long period of nearly 13 years. And also as a Host for major shows and events of the channels.
He has handled major Events of the Kannada Film Industry. His first event was held in Dubai in 2008 with many stars of Sandalwood. In 2010, he also did cultural event AKKA in New Jersey. His most challenging event was in 2011 – Maha Shivaraathri (25th year of Dr. Shivarajkumar’s Kannada Film Industry contribution[1]) where all the leading stars actively participated.
His another challenging project, as an independent Director was directing a film with Dr. Shivarajkumar titled “Cheluveye Ninne Nodalu.
He has shot this movie in the Seven Wonders of the World which is first of its kind in the Kannada Film Industry. Apart from this, his second movie "Fair & Lovely" starring Nenapirali Prem & Shwetha Srivatsav. which is produced by Jade Plant Ventures (one of the corporate company) got a huge critic applause & Filmfare Award for the best actress. His current projects include "Namagaagi" & "Missing Boy[2]" which is under production stage.
