Czerna [ˈt͡ʂɛrna] (Nazi-German: Hammerfeld; until 1936: Tschirndorf) is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Iłowa, within Żagań County, Lubusz Voivodeship, in western Poland.[1] It lies approximately 4 kilometres (2 mi) north-east of Iłowa, 11 km (7 mi) south-west of Żagań, and 49 km (30 mi) south of Zielona Góra.
Before 1945 the area was part of Germany (see Territorial changes of Poland after World War II).
The village has a population of 360.
