The Parliament of the Czech Republic vote of no confidence in the Czech Republic government of the Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek was held on 24 March 2009.[1] It was the first time since dissolution of Czechoslovakia that Czech government lost vote of No Confidence.[2] Vote was held during Czech Presidency of the Council of the European Union in 2009.[3]

Result

101 MPs voted for the motion of Noc Confidence. Some MPs of governing coalition voted for the motion. It includes Vlastimil Tlustý, Jan Schwippel, Věra Jakubková and Olga Zubová.[4] Independent cabinet of Jan Fischer was appointed in May 2009.[5]
