Cynthia K. Sakai (born March 13, 1982) is an American fashion designer.
Early life
A California native, Sakai's mother worked for the Fendi family in Rome for many years and was thereby exposed to the retail clothing industry as a child.[1][2]
Sakai launched her first accessories line, Girlboy by Koco, at the age of 18.[3] She founded Vita Fede in 2009.[4] The brand has been featured in fashion magazines and is distributed throughout Europe, Asia, South America, Canada and the Middle East.[5][6] In 2014, Sakai became a member of the Council of Fashion Designers of America.[7]
