The Cathedral Basilica of Our Lady of the Rosary[1] (Spanish: Catedral Basílica de Nuestra Señora del Rosario)[2] Also Culiacán Cathedral[3] Is the name that receives a Catholic temple that serves like headquarters of the diocese of Culiacán, in Mexico being the oldest church of the municipality, since dates of 1842.

On May 12 of that year, construction began on the initiative of the seventh bishop of Sonora and Sinaloa, Lázaro de la Garza y Ballesteros, and was completed in 1855.

It has a neoclassical architecture with certain touches of baroque. Its façade has several inlays of pink quarry.
