The Cross of Recognition (Latvian: Atzinības krusts) is a state decoration of Latvia.
The Cross was established in 1938, but its historical origins trace back to 1710.[2] It is awarded to Latvians and foreigners for special services in public, cultural, science, sports and education.[3]
