Crawl File is the first compilation album of songs released by Australian rock band Australian Crawl.[2] The songs were taken from their first three studio albums The Boys Light Up, Sirocco and Sons of Beaches together with their EP, Semantics. The album was released on vinyl in 1984 and then re-released on CD in 1994.[2]

  • "Beautiful People", "Indisposed", "The Boys Light Up", "Hoochie Gucci Fiorucci Mama" and "Downhearted" were all taken from the band's debut album, The Boys Light Up (which was produced by David Briggs at AAV studios in Melbourne).
  • "Errol", "Oh No Not You Again", "Lakeside", "Unpublished Critics" and "Things Don't Seem", were taken from Sirocco (which was produced by Peter Dawkins at Studio 301 in Sydney).
  • "Shutdown" and "Letter From Zimbabwe" were both taken from Sons of Beaches (which was produced by Mike Chapman in Hawaii).
  • "White Limbo" and "Reckless (Don't Be So)" were taken from the EP, Semantics (which was produced by Mark Opitz at Rhionoceros Studios in Sydney and AAV studios in Melbourne).
