Craig Schoen (born May 2, 1983) is a former American professional basketball player.

College

Schoen played with the Tigers of Georgetown College and was voted to MCI All-Conference in 2006 and 2007.[1]

Iceland

Schoen joined KFÍ in the Icelandic Division I for the 2008-2009 season. He went on to lead the team in scoring (28,9 ppg) and assists (5,0) while guiding them to a playoff seat where they would eventually lose to Valur 1-2. During the 2009-2010, Schoen averaged 21,7 points and league leading 6,8 assists while helping the team achieve first place and promotion to the Úrvalsdeild.[2]

Schoen averaged 17,8 points, 4,3 rebounds and 5,0 assists for the 2010-2011 season but was unable to prevent the team from being relegated back to Division I after posting a 5-17 record. Schoen returned to KFÍ for the 2011-2012 and was instrumental in leading the team to a 17-1 record, good for first place and a promotion back to the Úrvalsdeild. For the season he averaged 16,6 points, 5,5 rebounds and 7,4 assists.[3][4]

Personal life

Schoen's sister, Brittany, played college basketball for Indiana State and professionally in Iceland.[5][6]
