Covelli Arena is a planned multi-purpose arena to be built on the campus of Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio, United States. The arena was named for Sam Covelli following a $10 million gift.
The arena was originally slated to open in 2018, but is now expected to open in early 2019.[1] It will replace the aging St. John Arena. After wide scale protests, university officials have now stated there are no plans to demolish the old arena in the near future.[2]
