The County Kildare Tournament was a 19th century Men's grass court tennis tournament held initially at Naas, County Kildare in Ireland established in 1880 it was a featured event of 1880 Men's Tennis tour the tournament was abolished in 1890.

History

The County Kildare Tournament was a 19th century Men's grass court tennis tournament held at Naas, County Kildare in Ireland established in 1880[1] the first edition was staged at the Naas Military Barracks, Naas.[2] It was a featured event of 1880 Men's Tennis tour. In 1881 the tournament was then staged at the County Kildare Club (later Naas Lawn Tennis Club) until it was abolished in 1890.[3]
