Recording
Recording sessions for the album took place on April 23, April 24, and April 25, 1974, at Bradley's Barn in Mount Juliet, TN. Two songs on the album were recorded during the sessions for 1973's Louisiana Woman, Mississippi Man, "As Soon as I Hang Up the Phone" was recorded on March 7, 1973, and "Lifetime Before" was recorded on April 5, 1973.[3]
