Countable (app)

Countable is a for-profit political media company based in Oakland, California. The company was founded on May 1, 2013.[1] They have a website and apps available for iOS[2] and Android[3] devices. The app and website provide access to a service that streamlines American citizens' communication with their representatives[4] and makes it easier to keep up with political news and information,[5] particularly at the federal level.[6] According to Engadget, the service is tightly integrated with Facebook.[7]

The service is responsible for over 8 million messages to Congress[8] and was featured in a 2014 New York Times piece on political apps.[9] It has also been featured in GQ,[10] Wired,[11] Tech Crunch,[12] and TheBlaze.[13]
